second law of thermodynamics us stated by two persons :- 1. Kelvin plank 2. Claussius . . .1. kelvin stated that it is impossible to create a engine which absorbs heat energy from the source and turns completely into work without rejecting any part to the sink. . . 2.claussius stated that it is impossible to create a self acting machine without any external source which would transfer heat energy from a body of high temperature to the body of low temperature.
