Radius of base of cylinders =3cm Height of cylinders =10.5cm Curved surface area of penholder =2πrh =2×22/7×3× 10.5cm =44×3×1.5 =198[cm×cm] The cardboard required to make a pen holder =C. S. Area of pen holder+area of base of pen holder =198+πr×r =198+3.14×3×3 =198+28.26 =226.26(cm×cm)
