Ans. This reaction is know as dehydration reaction. Ethene is the product of the reaction. H2SOacts as dehydrating agent. Phosphoric acid can also be used as the catalyst for the reaction.

Ans. This reaction is dehydration reaction. The compound formed is Ehtene. Structure Formula of Ethene is CH2=CH2

In this reaction conc. H2SO4 acts as dehydrating agent.
