angle MNO is equal to MON , since triangle is isosceles. Angle MNO =MON=a ....... Now angle MNP+angle MNO=180(linear pair)...angle MNP+a=180 .... angle MNP=180-a (1)... angle MON+angle MOQ=180 (linear pair).. a + angle MOQ=180... MOQ=180-a (2) ..... from equation 1 and 2 we get angle MNP=MOQ
