Concave mirror:

Doctors use concave mirror for examining eyes, ears, nose and throat.
Concave mirrors are also used by dentists to see an enlarged image of the teeth.
The reflectors of torches, headlights of cars and scooters are concave in shape.

Convex mirror:

Convex mirror is used as a side view mirror. These help the drivers to see the traffic behind them.
Concave mirror are used as shaving mirror.
Concave mirror are used as reflector in torches, headlights of vehical.
Concave mirror are used by dentists to see an enlarge image of teeth.
Doctor use concave mirror to produce a parallel beam of light for examining body parts such as eyes, ears, nose and throat.

Convex lens:

It is used as a magnifying glass in hand lenses, microscopes, telescopes etc.
Used in spectacles to correct far sightedness.

Concave lens :

Can be used to correct short sightedness is spectacles.
Concave lens are used in Galilean telescopes.
