Light from the sun get scattered by large no. of molecules in the earth's atmosphere.As scatterer(x)<< wavelength (lamda) Therefore intensity of scattered light is inversly proportional to lamda ki power 4 .Since wavelength of blue color is shorter than red therefore blue color is scatter much mote strongly . Hence sky appears blue.
