Why does conductivity of solution decreases with dilution
  • 1 answers

Suresh Krishna 8 years ago

The conductivity of a solution is directly proportional to the no. of ions in the solution. ie. When no. of ions is more the conductivity is high and vice versa. After dilution, when we consider a unit volume of solution, the no. of ions in the unit volume is less. Therefore conductivity decreases.
