Given equation, 9x²- 6ax + a²- b² = 0
{tex}\therefore \quad x = \frac { 6 a \pm \sqrt { ( - 6 a ) ^ { 2 } - 4 \times 9 \times \left( a ^ { 2 } - b ^ { 2 } \right) } } { 2 \times 9 }{/tex}
or, {tex}x = \frac { 6 a \pm \sqrt { 36 a ^ { 2 } - 36 a ^ { 2 } + 36 b ^ { 2 } } } { 18 }{/tex}

or,{tex}x = \frac { 6 a + 6 b } { 18 } , x = \frac { 6 a - 6 b } { 18 }{/tex}
or, {tex}x = \frac { 6 ( a + b ) } { 18 } , x = \frac { 6 ( a - b ) } { 18 }{/tex}
or, {tex}x = \frac { a + b } { 3 } , x = \frac { a - b } { 3 }{/tex}
