Henry’s law
Raoult’s law
Henry’s law states that the weight of the gas dissolved by the liquid is proportional to the pressure of the gas upon the liquid
Raoult’s law states that the partial pressure of each component of an ideal mixture of liquid is equal to the product of vapour pressure of the pure component and its mole fraction
It is applicable for the ideal gases
It is applicable for the solutions
This law is equal to Henry’s constant
This law is equal to the vapour of pure component
This law explains the partial pressure of the component at low concentrations
This law explains the pressure of the component when the concentration of the component is close to pure liquid
