Yes, Its in our syllabus. If we made a cavity inside a conductor with no charge then this cavity remain shield from the outer electric influence. This is called Electrostatic Shielding

●Electric field lines are imaginary straight lines...... ●Tangent to the E.F.L. at any point gives the direction of E.F. at that point.....●No two F.L. can intersect each other bcoz at point of intersection thete will be two direction of electric field which is not possible....●Elec. F.L. originate from +ve charge and terminates at - ve charge.
