1) For equitorial :- 1/ 4 ΠEo r^2 x p cos a(theta). At Equitorial point , a( theta) is 90 so potential becomes zero. 2) For axial :- v=1/4ΠEo.p/r^2

Manan Bedi 7 years, 3 months ago

Axial =2KP/r^3, Equitorial =KP/r^3

Not necessarily Point charge is any small charge while test charge is a charge at which we find potential due to a point charge. We usually take test charge as a small charge

A source charge could be a point charge. We consider source charge as the charge which sends out electric field in all the directions and the effect of that electric field is studied on another charge called test charge. The test charge can also be point charge.

¶= resistivity R= ¶ L/A L'= 2L A'=A/2 R'= ¶ L'/A' = ¶ 2L/(A/2) =¶. 4 L/A R'= 4 ( R) Resistance will become 4 times. resistivity changes when nature of material changes. ( if temperature is consider constant). Therefore there will be no change in resistivity
