Force = F = 3000 N  (Given)

Charge = q = 3 coulomb  (Given)

Distance = d = 10 cm  (Given)

According to the formula -

F = qE

F = qV/D

Where, F is the force , q is the charge, V is the potential difference  and d is the distance between two points

3000 = 3 × V/10×10-2

V = 1000

Thus, the potential difference between two points separated by a distance of 10 cm along the field line is 1000 Volts.

If glass rod is rubbed with the silk then charge developed on the glass rod is positive and charge on silk is negative both are equal and opposite as a result total charge on system become zero. Which is equal to as was before rubbing .
