If a force acting on a particle is always directed towards or away from a fixed point and its magnitude depends only upon the distance (r) from the point , then the force is "Central Force".

Mahima Pattanayak 4 years, 6 months ago

Central force is the force that is radially pointing and the magnitude is dependent on the distance from the source. Examples of central forces are gravitational force, electrostatic forces, and spring force.

Gauss’s Theorem Statement: According to Gauss’s theorem the net-outward normal electric flux through any closed surface of any shape is equivalent to 1/ε0 times the total amount of charge contained within that surface. Proof of Gauss’s Theorem Statement: Let the charge be = q Let us construct the Gaussian sphere of radius = r Now, Consider , A surface or area ds having having ds (vector) Normal having the flux at ds: Flux at ds: d e = E (vector) d s (vector) cos θ But , θ = 0 Therefore, Total flux: C = f d Φ E 4 π r2 Therefore, σ = 1 / 4πɛo q / r2 × 4π r2 σ = q / ɛo

Move wooden bridges P, P outward to include maximum length of wire (AB) between them. Decrease the length of the wire by moving both the bridges equally inwardly. Go on decreasing the length till sonometer wire starts vibrating (a sound is heard). Adjust the length for maximum amplitude of vibration, (maximum sound).

1. The electron revolves in orbits of fix energy and they never emits radiations while revolving in them. 2. The electron will revolve in the orbit for which it's angular momentum is integral multiple of h/2π 3. Electron will absorb energy if it makes transition to upper energy level and will emit radiations if it makes transition to lower energy orbit. The energy evolved or absorbed is equals to the energy gap to two orbits involved in transition. 4. The rotating electron always have a fix energy and which is equals to the energy of the orbit in which it is rotating.
