By induction

Let us assume that you want to charge a metal ball positively. So for that you have to take a negatively charged object and place it near the metal ball, in metal ball all the postive charge came near the end where the negative charge is, and all the negative negative charge of metal ball shifts on the farther end due to repusion , now take another conductor and place it in contact with the metal ball so that all the negetive charge flows from that end to the new conductor, now seperate both. Congratulation You got positive charge in sphere .

Bcoz attration also occurs in the case of both like charges by the process of induction and its obvious in case of unlike too... So attration can't be a factor for the detemination of charge on a body.... But repulsion always occurs in case of like charges only... I hope m successful in explaining u
Yes. Repulsion is observed only when two bodies have like charges that means the bodies must be charged. Therefore, repulsion is sure test for electrification than attraction. By Rudra

Magnets attract iron due to the influence of their magnetic field upon the iron. Before a piece of iron first enters the magnetic field of a magnet. the polarization of the iron's atoms is random. As it is exposed to the magnetic field, the atoms of the iron begin to align their electrons with the flow of the magnetic field, which makes the iron magnetized as well. This, in turn, creates an attraction between the two magnetized objects.
Silver, copper and gold does not turn magnetic on its own. In a magnetic field it magnetizes a very tiny amount, in the direction to repel the field.
