There is not any specific name who is known as the father of mathematics.
As mathematics have been implemented since early ages.
In beginning man uses it to count either fingers in their hand or count their children( whatever may be the method). In indian ancient sculpture known as rigvedas mentioned a lot of formulas and techniques to solve typical mathematical problems in very simple manner.
Today we know it as "vedic mathematics".
The names with whom we are familiar like as Pythagoras, Thales, Aryabhatta, Laplace, Euclid, Green, Bassle , Ramanujam just added thier concepts to the mathematics to make it competible with modern world. but mathematics have been using a earlier than these.
It is very clear that we do have using mathematics since last thousands of years.
In the ancient time Rishi and achyaryas made some calculations about sun , moons, Earth which is still accurate today.
Hence we can conclude that mathematics is as old as civilization on the earth. It quiet difficult to give a name to any one person as father of mathematics.

{tex}x = 2cosa - cos 2a ..... (1) \\ y = 2sin a - sin2a .... (2) \\ differentiate \ (1) w.r.t \ a, \ we \ get \\ {dx\over da} = -2sina +2.sin2a .... (3) \\ differentiate \ (2) w.r.t \ a, \ we \ get \\ {dy\over da} = 2cosa -2.cos2a .... (4) \\ divide\ (4) \ by \ (3), we\ get \\ {dy\over dx} = {2cosa-2cos2a\over -2sina +2.sin2a}{/tex}
{tex}{dy\over dx} = {cosa-cos2a\over -sina+sin2a}{/tex}
