According to Keats, nature has always been a source of perennial beauty. The beauty of nature can be found in heavenly bodies like the sun and the moon, in natural objects like trees and sprouting shrubs, even in a simple animal like the sheep and flowers like the daffodils and musk-rose. These are beautiful things which have the capacity to ease our pain. Apart from natural objects, the poet also finds beauty in the death of martyrs who have laid down their lives for a noble cause. The lovely tales of these brave souls tell us hope is still there.

The grandeur of doom refers to the monuments we erect to honour the 'mighty dead'. These monuments which honour men who are no more, are symbols of mighty sacrifice and greatness, and in such dedications mortal man passes into immortality--because their beauty captured in these monuments make them immortal and their deeds eternal.

The simple things of nature such as daffodils beautify the scenes that we see of nature and clear rills help to make the atmosphere cooler during the hot seasons of summer. They bring respite not only to the environment but also to our eyes with their simple beauty.

Sadao felt that the General was in the palm of his hand and that as a consequence he himself was perfectly safe because he had fulfilled his duty by informing the latter about the enemy and agreeing to his plan; however, the General could not keep his promise of killing the American man. As a result of which the General feared that this failure might be blamed on lack of patriotism or dereliction of duty on his part and thereby, asked for Sadao’s assistance and loyalty if the need ever rose to support him.

The ideology propounded by the poem is that of feminism. It pieces together the narrative of a woman's life and mind stifled through marriage and the restrictive presence of her husband. 'Aunt Jennifer's Tigers' is a poem which concerns the loss of a woman's independence and identity due to her marriage and the role that she must constantly play as a wife which stifles her mental freedom. It deals with a woman who is trapped in an oppressive marriage, her situation seems inescapable such that she takes to creating the tigers in the poem which are symbolic of her wish for a free rein to her womanhood, independent of her role as her husband's wife. The bold images of the tigers are contrasted with the timidity of the woman, they are fearless and assertive, unlike their creator who leads an ordered and conventional life under the shadow of her husband. The tigers are a form of feministic resistance, the woman's mind defying the man's physical control imposed on the woman's identity.

The summary of the Poem "A Thing of Beauty" is given below.
'A Thing of Beauty- is a poem taken from the poem titled - "Endymion - a poetic romance' written by the famous poet John Keats. The poet says that a beautiful thing is a source of endless joy. It has eternal beauty which never fades away. A beautiful thing is like a shady shelter which gives us a sleep full of sweet dreams, good health and relaxation.
Our attachments to the Earthly things are like a flowery wreath. They are traps which bind us to the materialistic things and keeps us away from eternal happiness. The Earth is full of hatred, greed and negativity. According to the poet, the gloom and sadness caused by this negativity fades away with the positive vibes of the beautiful things that surround us.
The poet lists out some of the beautiful things that surround us. As the saying goes -"Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. He says that the numerous creations of God like the Sun which gives us energy, the moon's beauty, the trees which give us shade are the natural beauties around us. The various animals like the sheep that surround us make our world lively. The pretty flowers like daffodils make the world green and lively. The flowing streams of water cool and refresh us in the hot summer season. The forests which are full of the pretty musk rose flowers are a beautiful sight to the eye. All these are the things of beauty. Also, the stories of the brave soldiers who laid their lives to protect their people are beautiful and inspiring. These beautiful things are like a fountain of immortality bestowed upon us by God. They inspire us to live on and maintain our faith in goodness.

The poem ‘My mother as Sixty-Six’ is full of imagery, contrast and simile. She describes her face ‘ashen’ like a corpse. She compares her wan face with a late winter’s moon.” The dozing mother is contrasted with sprinting young trees and spilling children out of their homes. Thus their is a fine blend of activity, life, decay and happiness.

Keats feels that the eternal pleasures that we derive each day, despite our unhappiness and misery, is what still connect us to the earth. The things that cause suffering and pain include the scarcity of people with a noble temperament, overcast days, and the unhealthy and miserable ways in which humanity is searching for meaning in life.
