alcohol is less acidic because of the electron donating nature of the alkyl group attached to the oxygen which destabilizes the hydroxide(in the case of alcohol,Alkoxide) ion and makes it tougher for the oxygen to donate the proton.

Jaan kar kuch karta toh nahi paar phir bhi acha lagta . intellectually speaking analysing you taking style and noticing the frequent words which are prevalent in north india . you seem to be from northindia . Knowing the fact that you are not from delhi and also you doesnt also belong to haryana and there is very less chances for you to belong to punjab as your name doesn't suite for a ethnic punjabi name . I am left with 4 states Uttar pradesh , madhya pradesh , Bihar and jharkhand . If you were from madhya pradesh i would have noticed your lingo . but as you never catched on any lingo other and hindi and slangs of hindi. it almost certain that your primitive and primary speaking language is HINDI. Hence you are most probably from UP or bihar . since you avoid curse word and i dont feel a esense of bhojpuri in you accent . I would stick to a conclusion that you are from UTTAR PRADESH OR BIHAR .

SN1 indicates a substitution, nucleophilic, unimolecular reaction, described by the expression rate = k [R-LG]. This implies that the rate determining step of the mechanism depends on the decomposition of a single molecular species. This pathway is a multi-step process with the following characteristics: loss of the leaving group creates the carbocation intermediate step 1: slow loss of the leaving group, LG, to generate a carbocation intermediate, then nucleophile attacks the C+ step 2 : rapid attack of a nucleophile on the electrophilic carbocation to form a new s bond reaction coordinate diagram for a two step process Multi-step reactions have intermediates and a several transition states (TS). In an SN1 there is loss of the leaving group generates an intermediate carbocation which is then undergoes a rapid reaction with the nucleophile.. reaction coordinate diagram for an SN1 General case SN1 reaction Let's look at how the various components of the reaction influence the reaction pathway: R- Reactivity order : (CH3)3C- > (CH3)2CH- > CH3CH2- > CH3- In an SN1 reaction, the rate determining step is the loss of the leaving group to form the intermediate carbocation. The more stable the carbocation is, the easier it is to form, and the faster the SN1 reaction will be. Some students fall into the trap of thinking that the system with the less stable carbocation will react fastest .

Because atoms are neither created nor destroyed in a chemical reaction, the total mass of products in a reaction must be the same as the total mass of the reactants. Chemical Equations Chemical reactions are described by chemical equations. Example: The reaction between hydrogen and oxygen to form water is represented by the following equation. 2 H2 + O2-----> 2 H2O It is often useful to indicate whether the reactants or products are solids, liquids, or gases by writing an s, l, or g in parentheses after the symbol for the reactants or products, as shown in the following equations. 2 H2(g) + O2(g) -----> 2 H2O(g) 2 Al(s) + Fe2O3(s) -----> Al2O3(s) + 2 Fe(l) Because so many reactions occur when solutions of two substances dissolved in water are mixed, a special symbol, aq, is used to describe these aqueous solutions. The process in which a sample dissolves in water will be indicated by equations such as the following. H2O C12H22O11(s) C12H22O11(aq) A chemical equation is a statement of what can happen, not necessarily what will happen. The following equation, for example, does not guarantee that hydrogen will react with oxygen to form water. 2 H2(g) + O2(g) -----> 2 H2O(g) It is possible to fill a balloon with a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen and find that no reaction occurs until you touch the balloon with a flame. The balanced equation for this reaction describes the relationship between the amounts of hydrogen and oxygen consumed and the water formed if or when this .

Hitesh Kumar 7 years, 10 months ago

Maybe ye bhi ho sakta hai For a reaction between oxygen molecule and hydrogen molecule to take place the bond between the two oxygen atom in O2 and the two hydrogen atom in H2 is required to be breaked. For this process a high temperature is needed which is not possible at room temperature. Since no bond breaks to make an reacting atom, the reaction does not takes place at room temperature

Hitesh Kumar 7 years, 10 months ago

Because of it's high activation energy for the reaction

Vijay Bhatt 7 years, 10 months ago

This process is mainly used to concentration low grade sulphide ore. Finally powdered ore is suspended in water, taken in a tank. To the suspention, oils like pine oil or olive oil is added. Frothing agent like sodium ethyl xanthate is also added. Froth is formed when the suspention is agitated by bubbling air through it. Ore particles adhere to froth and the gangue particles settle down at the bottom of the tank.

✔✔When a dilute solution of silver nitrate is added to a slight excess of dilute solution of potassium iodide, a negatively charged sol of silver iodide is formed (I- ion is preferred here). It is due to the adsorption of iodide ions (I-) from the dispersion medium on the precipitate of silver iodide (AgI). AgI + I− → [AgI]I- (negatively charged AgI sol)

Radhika Tyagi 7 years, 10 months ago

AgI is formed. It is negatively charged. The mobile layer is of I^-ions
