Most of the reaction of fluorine is exothermic because fluorine in its elemental state is considered to be electronegative element in the periodic table of all the elements.
The reaction of fluorine always helps in producing a huge amount of energy with the production of oxygen and water.
Therefore, fluorine is exothermic.

The ozone formation is actually endothermic, and oxygen is known to be less stable when combined with Heat as in speaking from the basis of thermodynamically. This is because oxygen decomposes in Ozone and then the Heat is liberated. Adding to this, Ozone is known to consist of 3 molecules of oxygen and is in an unstable state and is known to give out one molecule of oxygen for restoring a diatomic state. So basically immense quantities of Heat are released from this reaction, and the same is released to the atmosphere.

When salt is spread over snow covered roads, snow starts melting from the surface because depression of freezing point of water takes place due to addition of salt. It helps in clearing of roads. Hence, the phenomena is depression in freezing point which helps in clearing the snow covered roads in hilly areas.
