I know that time is less but having having capability or showing capability to do anything matters. Make sure that you should do all the NCERT questions and at least the conversions given in NCERT. In a more better i would suggest you to go through perepations of compound in one day then next day go with the physical properties then go with chemical properties then revise it again and again.Try to do conversions more and more because they actually test how much you have learnt through the reactions. Have confidence in you and try to do?

You should do first all types pf rxn and then do name reactions then do conceptual questions. #important dont do mechanism of any compound.

Chesta Jain 7 years, 4 months ago

You should first focus on the reaction given in ncert. Not only learn those reactions but try to understand what actually had happened in that. What is the use of reagents.

Let the molality of the solution =m Now the solution contains m moles of solute per 1000gm of benzene. Vapour pressure of pure benzene,P0=639.7mm Vapour pressure of solution ,P=631.9mm Moles of benzene (mol wt. 78)N=100078 Moles of solute,n=? Substituting these values in the Raoult's equations P0−PP0=nN 639.7−631.9639.7=n×781000 (Or) 7.8639.7=78n1000 ∴n=1000×7.878×639.7 ⇒0.156 Hence molality of solution =0.156mole/kg

You could use a Hunsdiecker reaction. Treat the benzoic acid with silver(I)carbonate and elemental bromine in carbon tetrachloride. A radical decarboxylation yields the phenyl radical which reacts with dibromine to yield bromobenzene. This reaction was first observed by the Russian chemist and composer Alexander Borodin.
