Coordination number is the number of atoms, ions, or molecules that a central atom holds as its nearest neighbours in a complex or coordination compound. For example: In [Mo(CN)8]4-, The central metal Mo is linked to eight cyanide ion, thus the metal atom has coordination number 8.
Similarly, in [Pt(NH3)4]2+ , Pt is linked to four NH3 molecules. Hence, its coordination number is 4.

A redox reaction always consists of oxidation and reduction. In the cell, the electrode potential develops due to oxidation at anode and reduction at cathode. Therefore, it is not possible to measure the potential of an isolated half cell.

Anionic detergents are sodium salts of sulphonated long chain alcohols or hydrocarbon. The long chain alcohols are treated with concentrated sulphuric acid to form alkyl hydrogen sulphate of high molecular mass whose anionic part is involved in cleansing action.
