Cationic detergents are quarternary ammonium salts of amines with acetates, chlorides or bromides as anions. Cationic part possess a long hydrocarbon chain and a positive charge on nitrogen atom. Hence, these are called cationic detergents. Cetyltrimethylammonium bromide is a popular cationic detergent and is used in hair conditioners.

Ethanol is an alcohol. Alcohols, in general are weaker acids than water. This is because the OH group in alcohols is less polar than the OH group in water. The electron releasing nature of the R group in alcohols decreases the polarity of the OH bond, leading to decrease in acid strength of alcohols. As a result, water is a better proton donor than alcohol. Also, the alkoxide ion is a better proton acceptor than the the hydroxide ion, suggesting that the alkoxides are stronger bases.

Nucleophiles: A nucleophile is a species (anion or a molecule) which is strongly attracted to a region of positive charge.
Nucleophiles are either fully negative ions or have a strong –ve charge. Common nucleophiles are hydroxide ions, cyanide ions, water and ammonia.
Notice that each of these contains at least one lone pair of electrons either on an atom carrying a full negative charge or on a very electronegative atom carrying a substantial-charge.
Electrophile: A electrophile is a species (cation) which is electron deficient hence attacked by negatively charged or electron rich species.
It participated in a chemical reaction by accepting an electron pair from nucleophile.
common electrophiles are Cl+, NO2+, HSO3+ etc.

This is the structure that gives protein the 3-D shape and formation. After the amino acids form bonds (secondary structure) and shapes like helices and sheets, the structure can coil or fold at random. This is what we call the tertiary structure of proteins. If this structure is disrupted or disturbed a protein is said to be denatured which means it is chemically affected and its structure is distorted.
