Due to lanthanide contraction as the size of lanthanide ions decreses from La3+ to Lu3+ , the covalent character of the hydroxides increases and hence the basic strength decreases. 

La(OH)3 is most basic and Lu(OH)3 is least basic.

U must have studied it during the time of pre boards so no need to worry I have also not touched English after preboards and ijust read all the chapters today. So don't take stress of u have a good grip on English then you can finish it in 2 days, 1 day for each book. In the end don't take stress and be positive. U can do wonders ??
