When the object is thrown up the kinetic energy will become zero when it reach it's maximum height and the potential energy become maximum and then it starts to fall now the potential energy start's to reduce and kinetic energy start's to increase . The kinetic energy become equal to the potential energy at the midpoint of the journey

When a body is partly or completely immersed in water (or any other liquid), then: Loss in weight of body = Weight of water (liquid) displaced by the body = Buoyant force or upthrust exerted by water (any liquid) on the body.
There will be loss in the weight of the body.
