Given that,
uA = uB =72 kmh−1 = 72 × 185 = 20 ms−1
Using the relations, s = ut + 1/2 at2, we get
SB = uBt + 1/2 at2 = 20 × 50 + 1/2 × 1 × (50)2
SB = 1000 + 1250 = 2250m
Also, let SA be the distance covered by the train A, then SA = uA × t
= 20 × 50 = 1000 m
Original distance between the two trains
= SB − SA
= 2250 − 1000 = 1250 m

According to the problem the the moon has created an angle of θ= 1 degree 55min
Now we need to convert it into radian
therefore,
115/60 degree = 23/12 x π/180 rad
Let r be the radius of the earth
therefore, r = 6.4 × 106m
From I = rθ,
r = 1/θ
= 6.4 × 106 x 12 × 180/23 × π m = 1.91 × 108 m
Hence the answer is 1.91 × 108 m
