rate of change of the momentum of a body is equal in both magnitude and direction to the force imposed on it Basically this law gives you this equation : F = ma where, F is force, m is mass and a is acceleration.

Bernoulli’s Principle states that the pressure exerted by a fluid decreases as its velocity increases. As the velocity of a fluid (or air in our case) increases, the pressure decreases so the static air inside the house has a higher pressure than the fast moving air outside, creating a pressure difference. As the wind speed increases, the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the house (area above the roof) gets larger until it reaches a point where the pressure difference is sufficiently large enough to “pop” the roof off the top of the house. This is the reason why cyclones are able to swipe off the roof of a house due to its structure.

In the case of a clockwise spinning ball, the relative velocity of air with respect to the ball would be GREATER (velocities are antiparallel) than that below the ball. As a result, as per the Bernoulli's principle (P ~ 1/V), pressure below would be GREATER than pressure above the ball. Consequently, the ball shows a slight deflection in its path towards the upper direction (passive movements occur from high pressure to low pressure). This phenomenon of deviation is known as DYNAMIC LIFT.

Pascal's law states that if the pressure is applied on fluids that are confined within an enclosed medium, the fluids would then transmit the same pressure in all directions at the same rate, provided temperature and density remains constant throughout. The same principle is used in case of Hydraulic lift, Toricelli's barometer and in case of Hydraulic brake system provided in vehicles.

Take a simple practical example. Take a cardboard block or anything cuboidal in shape like that you have. Try to bend the block at two opposite rectangular faces of the cuboid. It is easy. But, try so taking the other two rectangular faces. If we assume that the distance between the first two faces is LESS than the last two rectangular faces then it is gonna be even more difficult. If we replace it with a cylinder, the thickness or the interface distance would become the diameter. As Young's Modulus is directly proportional to easiness in bending or changing configuration and bringing it back to original, and this bending property is inversely proportional to thickness, Young's Modulus is inversely proportional to root of diameter or simply, diameter.

It turns out (we will prove this at a later date) that the velocity profile, u(y) is linear, i.e. u(y) = Vy/h. ... In a simple 2-D shear flow such as this, the shear stress is directly proportional to the slope of the velocity profile. In fact, the constant of proportionality is the coefficient of viscosity itself!

Stress is the restoring force coming from within an elastic object acting per unit area of the object. Whereas, strain is the change in the physical arrangement or the configuration in an elastic object when it is subjected to external force.
