Let g.p as (a ar ar^2 ar^3.............ar^n-1) acc.to quest. Total no. Of terms is even....okk so....now....what will be the terms occupying odd place..it will be T1 , T3 , T5.......so on..T1 is a T3 is ar T4 is ar^2....okk???then find sum of odd terms ...by the formula a(r^n -1)/r-1....similarly find total of all terms and do as given in question..if u get any other problem then u can ask....actually it is not possible to solve all the question here okk??

LHS =  cos2 x  +  cos2 y + 2 cos x cos y + sin2 x + sin2y + 2 sin x sin y

        =   2  +  2 (  cos x cos y  +  sin x siny )

        =  2 ( 1 + cos ( x - y )  )

        =  2 * 2 cos2( ( x - y ) / 2  )                (because 1.+ cos x=2cos2x / 2 )

        =  4 cos2 (  (x - y ) / 2  ) =  RHS

A point is (15/2,0) find by the distance formula

Yakshi ? 7 years, 1 month ago

Is it clear now???

Yakshi ? 7 years, 1 month ago

U will not use mid point formula......u have to use distant formula....let all three points as P Q and R .as these two point are equidistant....so.....find distance of PQ and then QR and put them equal and solve u will get answer

Yakshi ? 7 years, 1 month ago

Yes i was wrong....now.....let me tell u correct one.....only last method was wrong....

Yakshi ? 7 years, 1 month ago

I could be wrong.....i m not sure sorry???

Yakshi ? 7 years, 1 month ago

The point which we need to find is on x axis which means y=0....okk???now let the coordinates be(x,0)...this point is eqidistant from those points so....u can use mid point formula i.e. x1 + x2 /2 = x so,.....7+3 /2=x so....x will be 5......

And after finding nth term multiply nth terms of both of them...then u will get....n(n^2) which will give u n^3 and then...taking summation ....as sigma n^3 apply formula and u will get answer

Yakshi ? 7 years, 1 month ago

As given in question.....1×2^2 + 2×3^2...firstly separate the no.s in multiplication ....u can write....(1+2+3........)(2^2 + 3^2 + 4^2.........)then find nth term of each...u will get nth term of (1+2+3.....)=n and nth term of other one will be....n^2
