The antigens of the foetus do not get exposed to the {tex}{{Rh}^{-}}{/tex} blood of the mother in the first pregnancy. However, during the delivery of the first child, there is a possibility of exposure of the maternal blood to small amounts of the {tex}{{Rh}^{+}}{/tex} blood from the foetus. In such cases, the mother starts preparing antibodies against Rh antigen in her blood.
In case of her subsequent pregnancies, the Rh antibodies from the mother {tex}({{Rh}^{-}}){/tex} can leak into the blood of the foetus {tex}{{Rh}^{+}}){/tex}. This could cause severe anaemia and jaundice to the baby. This condition is called erythroblastosis foetalis.

Bowman's capsule  is a cup-like sack at the beginning of the tubular component of a nephron in the mammalian kidney that performs the first step in the filtration of blood to form urine. A glomerulus is enclosed in the sac. The Bowman's capsule has an outer parietal layer composed of simple squamous epithelium. The visceral layer, composed of modified simple squamous epithelium, is lined by podocytes. Podocytes have foot processes, pedicels, that wrap around glomerular capillaries.

Karyokinesis is the division of the nucleus that occurs in four stages. They are prophase, metaphase, anaphase and Telophase. During prophase, the chromatin condenses to form chromosomes. centrioles develop into asters and move towards the opposite poles. Mitosis is the process in which the nucleus of a eukaryotic cell divides. During this process, sister chromatids separate from each other and move to opposite poles of the cell. This happens in four phases, called prophase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase.
