Power sharing means the sharing of power or in other words the policy agreed between political parties or within a coalition to share responsibility for decision making and political actions. The principles learnt from the cases of Belgium and Sri Lanka are : 1) The majority has no right to suppress the minority just because they are more in number. 2) The dominance of the majority over the minority by not sharing power or by considering themselves superior can undermine the unity of the country. 3) No person is superior to another no matter what the reason is. Every person is equal before the Law.

1) Nationalist feelings were widespread among educated middle class germans. 2) Although in 1848 , they tried to unite the different regions of the german confideration into a nation state but it came out to be unsuccessful in the unification of Germany. 3) From then on Prussia took on the leadership of the movement for national unification. 4) Cheif minister Otto Bon Bismarck was an architect of the whole process and he carried out this mission with the help of the Prussian army. 5) Three wars over 7 years with Austria , Denmark, and France ended in Prussian victory and completed the process of unification.
