Mahatma Gandhi believed that religion can never be separated from politics. It was not in reference to any particular religion but in general Gandhi believed that every religion is characterized by moral values and ethics and that religion brings a sense of morality in the conduct of politics. For Mahatma Gandhi, religion must guide political actions whose ultimate aim was to secure welfare of the people.

It means how long they predict newborns will live. Someone who's 50 years old right now may have a life expectancy of 85 years old, but those being born right now have a life expectancy of probably more considering what we have today for medical care. This estimate assumes that we don't get any better or any worse over the course of their lifetime.

Novels became very popular very quickly because of the following reasons:

1.In the ancient times manuscripts were handwritten. These were circulated among a very few people. In contrast novels were read  because they were widely printed.

2. Large cities like London were growing rapidly. Through improved means of travel and communication it became possible to connect towns with ruler areas. Books could reach faster to faraway regions.

3. Novels produced a number of common interest among varied readers. Because of the content of the novels its leaders were drawn to the stories since they easily identified with the lives of fictitious characters. The themes of the novels ranged from family and social lives to rural culture which largely attracted the attention of the readers.

4. A vast increase in literacy rates also led to the rise in popularity and wide reach of the novels.

Manuscript is the original copy of a play, book or music before it has been printed. It is written by hand or typed. The production of handwritten manuscripts could not satisfy the ever increasing demand for books.
Three shortcomings of manuscript are
(i) Manuscripts were fragile, awkward to handle and could not be carried around or read easily.
(ii) Copying was an expensive, laborious and time consuming business.
(iii) Their circulation therefore remained limited. This could not satisfy the increasing demand for books.

In politics, a partisan is a committed member of a political party. In multi-party systems, the term is used for politicians who strongly support their party's policies and are reluctant to compromise with their political opponents.
While as Partisanship is when a politician sides with his party's affiliation, even though he thinks differently. For example; Politician A is in the Republican party. Politician A is Pro-choice, but the Republican party is not. He also knows that if he sides with pro-choice, it may cost him the election, so he goes along with the party and fights against abortion, even though his views differ.

Following points show that the opening up of foreign trade has integrated the markets across the countries. 1. Main channel for connecting countries :- Since time immemorial foreign trade has been the main channel connecting countries and markets. 2. Expansion of Local Markets :- To put it simply, foreign trade creates an opportunity for the producers to reach beyond the domestic markets , i.e., markets of their own countries. Producers can sell their produce not only in markets located within the country but can also compete in  markets located in other countries of the world. 3. Better choice for the buyers :- With the expansion of trade the choice of goods in market rises. Consumers get more variety and quality goods at cheaper rates. Similarly, for the buyers, import of goods produced in another country is one way of expanding the choice of goods beyond what is domestically produced. In general, with the opening of the trade, good travel from one market to another. Choice of goods in the markets increases. 4. Impact on prizes :- With the expansion of market , prices of similar goods in the two markets tend to be equal. 5. Competition :- Trade promotes the competition both within as well as outside the nation. Producers of different countries now closely compete against each other even though they are separated by thousands of miles.
