Any legal Change becomes counter productive law when it results adversly. For example, many states have banned people who have more than two children from contesting panchayat elections. This had resulted in demat of political opportunity to many poor and women, which was not intended.
Generally, laws that seek to ban something are not successful in politics. This law tends to hinder the attainment of a desired goal and results adversely.

India is a country with varied language forms. It can led to social division, but it doesn't. Our political leaders dealt with this issue, showing their flexibility. Along with Hindi, there are 21 languages which are considered as schedule languages. Any aspirant for Central Post can give exam in any of these languages. This tested our federalism, but our system worked very well with this ?

The main political problem in Belgium was the issue of power sharing between the Dutch speaking and French speaking people. In Belgium, 59% people speak Dutch and 40% people speak French. However, in the capital city of Brussels, 80% people speak French while 20% people speak Dutch. The minority French speaking population was rich and powerful which was resented by the Dutch speaking people. The latter got benefited by the economic policies quite late. This issue resulted in tensions between the Dutch and French speaking people in the 1950's and the 1960's.

The deposits in the bank accounts which can be withdrawn on demand are known as demand deposits

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 10 months ago

Demand deposits: People with extra money deposit it in the banks by opening a bank account in their name. Banks accept the deposits and also pay an interest rate on the deposits. In this way people’s money is safe with the banks and it earns an interest.
People also have the provision to withdraw the money as and when they require. Since the deposits in the bank accounts can be withdrawn on demand, these deposits are called demand deposits.
Double coincidence: The double coincidence of wants mean that both the parties have to agree to sell and buy each other's commodity i.e. what a person desires to sell is exactly what the other person wishes to buy.

<div aria-expanded="true" data-readmore="" id="rmjs-1">In the year 1919, the British Government passed a new rule called Rowlatt Act, The Rowlatt Commission was appointed to investigate the 'seditious conspiracy' of the Indian people. The Law passed empowered the Viceroy Government with extraordinary power to stop all violations by silencing the press, confining political activists without trial and arresting any individual suspected of sedition and treachery and arresting individuals without any warrant. A nationwide protest was raised by calling a Hartal. The Act was ill famed as 'Black Act' by the people and Indians revolt in protest against the Rowlatt Act. Indians were outraged by rowlatt act because:
1. This law stated that that the Government can arrest the political leaders without any trial for 2 years
2. Political leaders were taken from Amritsar
3. Gandhi was not allowed to enter Delhi
4. Martial law was imposed Mahatma Gandhi was extremely agitated by enactment of Rowlatt Act. He argued that everyone cannot be punished for isolated political crime. This enraged Indian so, political leaders and common public came together against the act and Government adapted more repressive measures to dominate the Native people. Gandhi and other leaders of national Congress found it futile to take the measure of constitutional opposition and thereby called a 'hartal' where Indians suspended all the business and fasted to show their hatred for the British legislation.</div>
