The following guidelines aid in calculating the total production in a given sector:
- The value of the goods are calculated rather than the numbers of the individual goods.
-The value calculated is of the final products and services which automatically includes the values of the intermediate goods and services.
-The total production is then acquired by adding the total value of the final value of the goods and services in a given sector. This will give us the GDP in this sector.

Nature contains resources. These resources are converted into usable form with the help of technology. Human beings interact with nature through technology, and create institutions to accelerate their economic development.
1) Nature is defined by the rainfall, climate, topographic features of the place and does not depend on man made or developed resources.
2) Technology is developed with the nature and natural resources of the place, technology is developed for man's facilitation.
3) Institutions develope technologies based on resources. These technologies are used to utilize better resources which expand the institutions, and in return those institutions develop better technologies for better utilization of resources.

Ways in which we can conserve water are
- By building small check dams and tanks which are not only environment-friendly but also recharge groundwater.
- By rainwater harvesting and collecting rooftop water.
- To keep a check on industrial effluents which pollute rivers.
- To take every possible step at the personal level to save water (e.g. close the tap while brushing teeth, wash vegetables in a pan rather than directly under tap water etc.)

Limitations of Civil Disobedience movement
- Muslim political groups were lukewarm in their response to the Civil Disobedience Movement.
- After the decline of the Non Cooperation -Khilafat movement started, there was a atmosphere of suspicion and distrust between communities.
- Alienated from the Congress large sections of Muslims could not respond to the call for a united struggle.
- Many Muslim leaders and intellectualls expressed their concern about the status of Muslims as a minority within India.
- They feared that the culture and identity of minorities would be submerged under the domination of Hindu majority.
- Dalit participation was limited. They began organiging themselves, demanding reserved seats in educational institutions, and a separate electorate.
- Dr. B.R Ambedkar, who organised the datits into the depressed Classes Assocition in 1930, clashed with Mahatma Gandhi at the Second Round Table Conference by demanding separate electorates for dalits.
- Ambedkar ultimately accepted Gandhiji's position and the result was the Poona Pact of September 1932.
