Purna Swaraj in October 1929 the viceroy Lord Irwin announcing uncertain offer of Dominion status for India and Round table conference to discuss the future constitution in December 1929 under the presidency of Jawaharlal Nehru the Lahore Congress formalized the demand of Purna Swaraj or full Independence.. For India it was also declared the 26 January 1930 would be celebrated as the Independence Day when people were to take a place to struggle for Complete independence.

- Patriarchy is a social system in which males hold primary power and predominate in roles of political leadership, moral authority, social privilege and control of property.
- Patriarchal society is a male dominated society. Patriarchy basically means the rule by father. In a patriarchial society the men are given the power over women.
- Example : A girl would ask about buying a new dress to her mother. But if she wants to get admission in a school then her father will take decision about it. The father would select the school for her and not her mother.

- The Civil Code or the Nepoleonic code of 1804 did away all the privileges based on birth, established equality before law and secured right to property.
- This code was exported to the regions under French control.
- In Dutch republic in Switzerland in Italy and Germany Napoleon simplified administrative divisions, abolished the feudal system and freed peasants from manorial dues.
- In towns too guild restrictions we're removed.
- Transport and communication we're improved.

French armies were welcomed as harbinger's of liberty because
1.french army after the french revolution declare that they will free the rest of the europe from autocracy and help them to become nation state
2.also french army representative (Napoleon )took many new revolutionary principal which he he'd already taken in France
3.he take away the privilage based on birth secure right to property,and free the peasants from feudal and manorial dues .
4.in town he removed guild restrictions and make the whole system More rationale and efficient and small business men and artisan enjoy newly found freedom
5.all this changes of french army seem to be very attractive so french army welcome as harbinger's of liberty

Elle was a measuring unit frequently used in the states of German Confederation. It was used to measure cloth. It was the measurement of the cloth from elbow to fingertip. Elle varied with the different length of cloth. For instance, an Elle for textile stuff is 55.1 cm in Mainz and 55.6 in Nuremberg etc.

• Greece had been part of the Ottoman Empire since the fifteenth century.
• The growth of revolutionary nationalism in Europe sparked off a struggle for independence amongst the Greeks which began in 1821.
• Nationalists in Greece got support from other Greeks living in exile and also from many West Europeans who had sympathies for ancient Greek culture.
• Poets and artists lauded Greece as the cradle of European civilisation and mobilised public opinion to support its struggle against a Muslim empire.
• The English poet Lord Byron organised funds and later went to fight in the war, where he died of fever in 1824.
• Finally, the Treaty of Constantinople of 1832 recognised Greece as an independent nation.

Because it was the basis for Roman civilization which in turn has shaped the socio-cultural map of Europe for, well, as long as they have been gone, to be fair. Greece is credited with the creation of democracy, extensive works on philosophy, art (which Rome chose to copy) and was essentially the "first successful Western civilization".

The Credit refers to an agreement under which goods and services, or money is exchanged against a promise to pay later. This agreement is largely based on trust.
Another definition of Credit refers to the money given by banks to its customer and the later has to pay it on time. If he fails to pay the same on time, he will be charged by the bank.
Credit situation can be divided into two categories:
1. Formal sector- It includes banks and cooperative that extends loans to household for entrepreneurship and other personal needs . The rate of interest are charged by them is low.
2.Informal sector - It includes moneylenders traders employers relatives and friends .The moneylenders generally charge at a high rate of interest.
