1) Dutch and French speaking ministers shall be equal in the central govt.
2) Many Powers of the central government have been given to state govt. The state govt are not subordinate to the central govt.
3) Brussels has a separate govt in which both the communities have equal representation.
4) There is a third kind of govt called community govt elected by the people belonging to Dutch, French and German no matter where they live

- When this news of events in French reached the different cities of Europe, students and other members of educated middle classes began setting up Jacobin clubs.

Imperialism is territorial control of a region or a country by another country by using military control. Impact of imperialism were:
- Establishment of markets for European nations
- Vast colonial markets led to begining of the Industrial Revolution
- Cruel treatment of natives
- Economic exploitation of colonies
- Western nations built their economies and became prosperous at the cost of the colonies.
- Railways and infrastructure was improved in the colonies by the imperialist power only to further exploit them

Idealistic liberal democratic sentiments because of a narrow creed with limited ends. Nationalist groups became increasingly intolerant of each other and ever ready to go to war.
After 1871 nationalist tension mounted in Europe in the area called Balkan’s. The Balkans was a region of geographical and ethnic variations.
A large part of Balkans was under the contral of the ottoman Empire.
The spread of the ideas of romantic nationalism in the Balkans and downfall of Ottoman Empire made this region very explosive.
As the different Slavic nationalist struggled to define their identity and independence, the Balkans became an area of conflict.
There was intense rivalry among the European powers over trade and colonies.
This led to a series of wars in the region and finally the first world war.
Many countries in the world which had been colonized by the European powers in the 19th century began to oppose imperial domination.
The anti-imperial movements developed nationalism and formed independent nationstates.

Banks are financial intermediaries which offer loan for a wide range of economic activities.
1) They keep small proportions of the deposits with them as cash.
2) These deposits are used to offer loans to the borrowers. The bank thus intermediates between those who have surplus funds (depositors) and those who are in need of the funds (borrowers).
3) Banks charge a higher interest rate on loans than what they offer on deposits. The difference between what is charged from borrowers and what is paid to depositors is their main source of income.
The banks offer various types of loans to the borrowers which are categorized as Priority sector loans, corporate loans, Housing loans, Personal loans, student loans, etc. These loans are offered at different interest rates by the banks.
