Gandhiji launched Satyagraha movement in four different places:- in South Africa, in Champaran , in Kheda , and in Ahmedabad. The Satyagraha movement were launches in different places because of different reasons. In Champaran in Bihar, he inspired the peasants to struggle against the oppressive plantation system. In Kheda district in Gujarat , he helped the peasants who were hardly hit by great economic depression and were unable to pay revenue. In Ahmedabad ,he organized the Satyagraha movement for the mill workers who demanded better wages and better working conditions.
