We cannot absolutely say that democracy leads to economic growth of a country. Democracy is not a guarantee for economic development of the country. But "we can expect that it will not lag behind dictatorships." The quoted lines itself gives us an idea that democracy leads economic growth of a country. It is somewhat less than that of dictatorships. But then also then it helps in economic development .

Yes , all the three sectors are dependent on each other. In Primary sector, goods are produced by exploiting the natural products. Secondary sector converts the goods produced in primary sector into more valuable products and tertiary sector helps in the transportation of these goods. If there will be no primary sector, there will be neither the secondary sector nor the tertiary sector. If there will be no secondary sector, the goods produced in primary sector will not develop. If there will be no tertiary sector, the primary and secondary sector will not flourish.

Sardinia-Piedmont was ruled by an Italian princely house. 2) The north was under Austrian Habsburgs, the centre was under the Pope and the southern regions were under the Bourbon kings of Spain. 3) Italian language had many regional and local variations.

Unification of Germany- 1) Prussia took on the leadership of the movement for national unification. 2) Its chief minister, Otto von Bismarck, was the architect of this process carried out with the help of the Prussian army and bureaucracy. 3) Three wars over seven years - ended in Prussian victory and completed the process of unification. 4) In Jan 1871, the Prussian king, William I, was proclaimed German Emperor in a ceremony, held at Versailles. 5) The new state placed a strong emphasis on modernising the currency, banking, legal and judicial systems in Germany. 6) Prussian measures & practices often became a model for rest of the Germany.
