In females, one egg is released from one ovary every month. Every month, the uterus prepares itself to receive the embryo in case fertilization occurs. But if fertilization does not occur, the uterine wall is shaded off in order to prepare itself for the ovary which will be released in the coming month. Hence, to discard the unwanted uterine endometrial lining and the ovary which is not fertilized the menstruation occurs in human females.

Messages from nervous tissue, present in the brain arw sent to different body parts. These messages are sent in the form of electrical signals. These signals change the arrangement of protein in the muscle cells, which changes their structure and causes action?

Qwerty G 5 years, 11 months ago

Nervous tissue has an ability to generate electrical impulse in response to stimuli and to rapidly transmit the electrical impulse to the site of the origin along their length in a particular direction .due to electrical impulse they give message to brain and then cause action.

Evidences of evolution: Some of the important sources which provide evidences for evolution are: (a) Analogous Organs: Organs which performs similar function but are different in structure and origin. Example - wings of a bird and wings of an insect. The presence of analogous organs indicates that even the organisms having organs with different structures can adapt to perform similar functions for their survival under hostile environmental conditions. Thus, the presence of analogous organs in different animals provide evidence for evolution by telling us that though they are not derived from common ancestors, they can still evolve to perform similar functions to survive, flourish and keep on evolving in the prevailing environment. (b) Homologous Organ: Organs which have different functions but similar structure and origin. Example - fore arm of frog, lizard, bird and human. The presence of homologous organs in different animals provides evidence for evolution by telling us that they are derived from the same ancestor who had the 'basic design' of the organ on which all the homologous organs are based. (c) Fossils: The remains of dead animals or plants that lived in the remote past are known as fossils. The fossils provide evidence of evolution. For example, a fossil bird called Archaeopteryx looks like a bird but it has many features which are found in reptiles. This is because Archaeopteryx has feathered wings like those of birds but teeth and tail like those of reptiles. Therefore, Archaeopteryx is a connecting link between the reptiles and birds and suggests that birds have evolved from reptiles. Thus, fossils provide evidence that the present plants and animals have originated from the previously existing ones through the process of continuous evolution.

Image distance will be negative as the image formed on the left side of convex mirror. So according to new Cartesian rule, image distance will be negative

Chayanika Dutta 5 years, 11 months ago

Convex mirror always forms virtual image. So the image distance will be always positive

Bhumika Agrawal 5 years, 11 months ago

I am agree with Royal Thakur

????? ?????? 5 years, 11 months ago

Sorry the image distance will be positive because it forms virtual and erect image.

????? ?????? 5 years, 11 months ago

Image distance will always be negative because it forms real and inverted image in all case .
  • 1 answers

????? ?????? 5 years, 11 months ago

When image is virtual and erect then the image distance will be positive but when it is real and inverted then the image distance will be negative. In concave mirror only in one case when object is between pole and focus then the image distance will be positive. In convex mirror image distance is always positive.

Controls and regulates the amount of light entering the eye

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 11 months ago

Pupil The pupil is essentially a hole in the center of your iris that controls how much light enters the eye. It's size is controlled by the relaxing and contracting of the iris. When there is high light intensity, the pupil shrinks while it grows in low light intensity. This is to ensure there is enough light for vision without damaging the sensitive retina.

Meghna Thapar 5 years, 11 months ago

The function of the pupil is to allow light to enter the eye so it can be focused on the retina to begin the process of sight.

Aluminum is more reactive than iron but it doesn't corrode It is because of aluminium oxide layer. Aluminium outer surface layer is oxidized whenever it came in contact with the air and so result in aluminium oxide layer which is resistive in nature and remain attached to it. So due to this it act as protective layer to inner aluminium to get oxidized with air while in iron as the surface layer of iron is oxidized, it form rust which is not remain attached to iron and fall off exposing the inner iron for further oxidation.
