Every living cell requires oxygen for performing cellular respiration. In unicellular organisms the single cell is in direct contact with environment. Oxygen passes into it through diffusion. In simple multicellular organisms every cell may also get oxygen through diffusion from environment. This is not possible in complex multicellular organisms like humans. The body is covered by dead cells. The living cells are not in contact with external environment. Air containing intercellular spaces are absent. Therefore, quick diffusion cannot occur. Cell to cell diffusion is a very slow process. Passage of oxygen from lungs to toes through cell to cell diffusion will take about three years. Therefore, diffusion cannot meet the oxygen requirement of multicellular organisms like humans

Excretion is carried out in the plants in the following ways: The gaseous wastes, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water vapor are removed through the stomata of leaves and lenticels of stems. Some waste products collect in the leaves and bark of trees. When the leaves and bark are shed, the wastes are eliminated.

1.Strong Acids Strong acids dissociate completely into their ions in water, yielding one or more protons (hydrogen cations) per molecule. There are only 7 common strong acids. 1.HCl - hydrochloric acid 2 HNO3 - nitric acid 3H2SO4 - sulfuric acid (HSO4- is a weak acid) 4.HBr - hydrobromic acid 5.HI - hydroiodic acid 6.HClO4 - perchloric acid 7.HClO3 - chloric acid Examples of ionization reactions include: 8.HCl → H+ + Cl- 9.HNO3 → H+ + NO3- 10.H2SO4 → 2H+ + SO42- Note:1.the production of positively charged hydrogen ions and also the reaction arrow, which only points to the right. All of the reactant (acid) is ionized into product. 2.Weak Acids Weak acids do not completely dissociate into their ions in water. For example, HF dissociates into the H+ and F- ions in water, but some HF remains in solution, so it is not a strong acid. There are many more weak acids than strong acids. Most organic acids are weak acids. Here is a partial list, ordered from strongest to weakest. 1.HO2C2O2H - oxalic acid 2.H2SO3 - sulfurous acid 3.HSO4 - - hydrogen sulfate ion 4.H3PO4 - phosphoric acid 5.HNO2 - nitrous acid 6.HF - hydrofluoric acid 7.HCO2H - methanoic acid 8.C6H5COOH - benzoic acid 9.CH3COOH - acetic acid 10.HCOOH - formic acid Weak acids incompletely ionize. An example reaction is the dissociation of ethanoic acid in water to produce hydroxonium cations and ethanoate anions: CH3COOH + H2O ⇆ H3O+ + CH3COO- Note:2.the reaction arrow in the chemical equation points both directions. Only about 1% of ethanoic acid converts to ions, while the remainder is ethanoic acid. The reaction proceeds in both directions. The back reaction is more favorable than the forward reaction, so ions readily change back to weak acid and water.

The transfer of electrons in our bodies is the cause of charging a body. When a charged body comes into contact with another charged body, it can induce charge. The movement of electrons from one location to another can generate a charge, resulting in a charge on the body.

A concave mirror has a reflective surface that is curved inward and away from the light source. Concave mirrors reflect light inward to one focal point. Unlike convex mirrors, the image formed by a concave mirror shows different image types depending on the distance between the object and the mirror.
