Council meetings refers to all council decisions are made at council meetings or through them. They are either made at the meeting or under delegated authority to others. Council decisions are made by a majority of the councillors present at the meeting voting in favour, providing a quorum is present. Full Council is a meeting of all Haringey's 57 Councillors. It is chaired by The Mayor who also maintains a ceremonial role. It is run according to formal rules of debate known as standing orders as laid out in the Council's Constitution. A council is meeting for discussion or advice, but to counsel is a verb meaning to give advice. Council comes from the Latin word concilium for "group of people, meeting," which is what it basically means today. There are student councils, honor councils, or city councils, to name a few.

Wire is cut into 5 equal parts. Since all dimensions are same for pieces, Resistance of each wire is equal and has a value = R/5.
Resistance is proportional to length of wire and inversely proportional to area of cross-section. IF length is 1/5th, then Resistance is also 1/5 th of original value.
When these five are connected in parallel combination, then net resistance becomes 1/5th again. So R1 = R/5 * 1/5 = R/25
Ratio = R1/R = 1/25

In the case of lower organisms like the bacteria, fungi and lower plants, the metabolic rates are changed. When there are unfavorable conditions, the metabolic rate is slowed down. This helps in conserving energy to survive. There is the formation of spores in lower organisms. These are tough spores which have a hard covering. These spores can survive in the adverse conditions and germinate on the return of favorable climate.

Static friction is a force that keeps an object at rest. Static friction definition can be written as: The friction experienced when individuals try to move a stationary object on a surface, without actually triggering any relative motion between the body and the surface which it is on.

The noble gas shorthand is used to summarize the electron configuration of an element while providing the most relevant information about the valence electrons of that element. The noble gas is substituted to represent all of the electrons that aren't valence electrons. An inert gas is one that does not undergo chemical reactions. Noble gases refers to the right most group of the periodic table composed of helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon, and radon. As you might have seen as an example in class, some noble gases can form chemical compounds, such as XeF4.

A combination reaction is one in which two or more substances react together to form a third substance which is the addition product of the two.
Here there is an exchange of electrons between the two compounds. When solid iron ‘metal is heated’ with powder sulphur which is a non-metal iron sulphide is formed. Iron exhibits a variable valency of 2 and 3.
Here it loses two electrons, on the other ‘hand sulphur’ gains these two electrons. And hence FeS is formed.
Fe + S ⟶ FeS

When dilute sulphuric acis is added to zinc granules, then zinc should become white, as it is becoming zinc sulfate, which is also known as "white vitriol."
The reason proceeds with the liberation of hydrogen gas and a large amount of heat as below -
Zn (s) + H2SO4 (aq) → ZnSO4(s) + H2(g) (Exothermic reaction)

Steps Involved in Balancing a Chemical Equation:
Consider the chemical reaction between magnesium and oxygen to understand the steps involved in balancing a chemical equation.
Step 1:
Let us first write the word equation for this reaction.
Magnesium + Oxygen → Magnesium oxide
Step 2:
Write the chemical equation for the reaction between magnesium and oxygen.
Mg + O2 → MgO
Step 3:
Count the number of atoms of an element occurring on both L.H.S. and R.H.S. in this equation.
Mg + O2 → MgO
|
Component |
Reactant |
Product |
|
Magnesium |
1 |
1 |
|
Oxygen |
2 |
1 |
This is an unbalanced equation.
Step 4:
To balance a chemical equation, first draw boxes around each formula. Do not change anything inside the boxes while balancing the equation.
Choose a reactant or a product which has the maximum number of atoms in it.
In that compound, select the element which has the maximum number of atoms. In this equation we shall select MgO i.e. magnesium oxide and the element oxygen in it.
To balance the oxygen atoms, let us multiply magnesium oxide molecule by 2 on the right hand side.
|
Component |
Reactant |
Product |
|
Magnesium |
1 |
1 x 2 = 2 |
|
Oxygen |
2 |
1 x 2 = 2 |
Step 5:
There are two oxygen atoms on either side of the equation but one magnesium atom on the reactant's side and two on the product's side. Therefore, multiply the magnesium atom by 2 on the left hand side.
|
Component |
Reactant |
Product |
|
Magnesium |
1 x 2 = 2 |
2 |
|
Oxygen |
2 |
2 |
Therefore, the number of atoms of each element of reactants = The number of atoms of each element of products.
Step 6: Writing Specific Conditions on the Arrow
The reaction is carried out in the presence of ‘Heat’. On heating, magnesium combines with oxygen present in air to form magnesium oxide.
Step 7: Writing Symbols of Physical States
The various ways in which a chemical equation can be made more informative are : (i) By indicating the physical states of the reactants and products. Example: Solid state is indicated by the symbol (s).
(ii) By indicating the heat changes taking place in the reaction. For Example: An exothermic reaction is indicated by writing “+Heat” or “+Heat energy” or “+Energy” on the products side of an equation.
(iii) By indicating the “conditions” under which the reaction takes place.
Example: Delta stands for heat which is written on the arrow sign in the equation.

Every consumer whether it is an animal, fish or bird has a fix life span after the completion of which they die. Dead remains of these organisms are decomposed by the decomposes i.e converted into simple inorganic substances. These inorganic substances serve as raw material for photosynthesis of the plants . Hence flesh in any form finally becomes grass.
A carnivore derives its nutrition from a herbivore; while a herbivore derives it from grass or plants. So, a carnivore receives its entire food from the plants via herbivorous animal to build their body muscles and other tissues, hence we can say that all the flesh of not only carnivores but herbivores and omnivores is grass or other plants.
