Volume of water in cuboid

=50×44×21/100=462 M3…...(1)

Let after t hrs the level goes up 21 cm, so water length l=15×1000×t=15000 t m

Vol of water flowing =22/7×7×7×15000t/(100×100)=231t m3…....(2)

From (1) and (2)

231 t=462

t =2 hr

• Let us assume , to the contrary , that 2 - root 3 is rational. •That is ,we can find coprime a and b (b= not epuals to 0) such that 2- root 3= a/b. • Therefore , 2- a/b= root 3. • Rearranging this equation, we get root 3 = 5-a/b= 5b-a/b. • Since a and b are integers, we get 5-a/b is irrational, and so root 3 is rational. •But this contradicts the fact that root 3 is irrational. • This contradiction has arisen because of our incorrect assumption that 5-root 3 is rational. • So , we concluded that 5-root 3 is irrational. ● HENCE PROVED

We use mid point formula in the coordinates of A and C. By this we find the intersecting point. Again we apply mid point formula in B and D coordinates and we get a intersecting points. Result will be equal so it is proved.

Sum of first ten terms = 10/2(a + (10-1)d) = 5(a+9d)=-150 .....1 Sum of first twenty terms = 20/2(a + (20-1)d = 10(a + 19d) ....2 Sum of first twenty - sum of first 10 = sum of next 10 terms=-550 So -150-10a - 19d = -550 = -10a -19d= 400 Substitute value of a from a in the terms of d and find that A.

Sec2θ - tan2θ = 1

(secθ+tanθ)(secθ-tanθ)=1
or, secθ-tanθ=1/p ----------------(2)
Adding (1) and (2) we get,
2secθ=p+1/p
or, secθ=(p²+1)/2p
∴, cosθ=1/secθ=2p/(p²+1)
∴, sinθ=√(1-cos²θ)
=√[1-{2p/(p²+1)}²]
=√[1-4p²/(p²+1)²]
=√[{(p²+1)²-4p²}/(p²+1)²]
=√[(p⁴+2p²+1-4p²)/(p²+1)²]
=√(p⁴-2p²+1)/(p²+1)
=√(p²-1)²/(p²+1)
=(p²-1)/(p²+1)
∴, cosecθ=1/sinθ=1/[(p²-1)/(p²+1)]=(p²+1)/(p²-1)

Another method:

Sec2θ - tan2θ = 1

(secθ + tanθ)( secθ - tanθ) = 1

p( secθ - tanθ) = 1

( secθ - tanθ) = 1/p and, ......-(1)

( secθ + tanθ) = p ..... - (2)

(1) + (2),

secθ = 1/2 (p + 1/p) ,

(2) - (1)

tanθ = 1/2 (p-1/p)

secθ / tanθ = cosecθ

Hence,

cosecθ = p +1/p / p-1/p = p2 +1 / p2 -1

Applying Euclid division lemna on 210 and 55, we get 210 = 55 × 3 + 45☺️☺️ 55 = 45 × 1 + 10 ☺️ 45 = 4 × 10 + 5 ☺️ 10 = 5 × 2 + 0 ☺️ ☺️We observe that the remainder at this stage is zero. So, the last divisor i.e., 5 is the HCF of 210 and 55.☺️ ∴ 5 = 210 × 5 + 55y☺️ ⇒ 55y = 5 - 1050 = -1045☺️ ☺️∴ y = -19
