Let me tell u the format first with the help of an example I am taking √5 here:Let us assume that √5 is a rational number. we know that the rational numbers are in the form of p/q form where p,q are intezers. so, √5 = p/q      p = √5q we know that 'p' is a rational number. so √5 q must be rational since it equals to p but it doesnt occurs with √5 since its not an intezer therefore, p =/= √5q this contradicts the fact that √5 is an irrational number hence our assumption is wrong and √5 is an irrational number. hope it helped u ☺️

Anushka Jugran ? 6 years, 11 months ago

Firstly u need to assume that the given number is rational then u have to express it in the form of p/q. At last u will get a wrong equation which contradicts our assumption.

An = 2n + 1
Let n be 1
a1 = 2(1) + 1
a1 = 3
Let n be 2
a2  = 2(2) + 1
= 4 + 1
= 5
Let n be 3
a3 = 2(3) + 1
a3 = 7
a1 + a2 + a3 = 3 + 5 + 7 = 15

Honey ☺☺☺ 6 years, 11 months ago

First put n=1and then put n=2 u will get the 1st term and the 2nd term and then find d

let measure of smaller supplementary angle = x°
Larger angle = x + 20°
As per given condition
x + x + 20 = 180°
2x = 180° - 20°
2x = 160°
x = 160/2
x = 80°
So, angles are 80° and 100°.

Ram Kushwah 6 years, 11 months ago

Prime factorisation of any composite number is always unique.

This is a universal theorem,you can check in your NCERT book

Puja Sahoo? 6 years, 11 months ago

Yes, every composite number can be expressed as a product of its primes but its factorization is not unique every time............

Gravitational field intensity = gradient of Gravitational potential = dV/dr
The gravitational potential gradient dV/dr is defined as the rate of change of gravitational potential with distance in the field. This is equal to the gravitational field intensity at that point.
U = gravitational potential energy = – GMm/r
Gravitational potential V = U/m =  –  GM/r
Gravitational field intensity I =  dV/dr
= GM/r2
