Let the three middle most terms of the AP be: a – d, a, a + d.

So, (a – d) + a + (a + d) = 225
3a = 225
a = 75
Now, the AP is
a – 18d, …, a – 2d, a – d, a, a + d, a + 2d, …, a + 18d

Sum of last three terms: (a + 18d) + (a + 17d) + (a + 16d) = 429
a + 18d + a + 17d + a + 16d = 429
3a + 51d = 429
a + 17d = 143
75 + 17d = 143
17d = 143 - 75
d = 4
Now, first term = a – 18d = 75 – 18(4) = 3
Therefore, The AP is 3, 7, 11, … , 147.

Proof: In right triangle ADB and ADC so, by Pythagoras theorem, AB^2=AD^2+BD^2.................(1) AC^2=AD^2+DC^2..................(2) AB^2+AC^2=2AD^2+BD^2+DC^2 =2BD.CD+BD^2+CD^2 [given:AB^2=BD.CD] (BD+CD)^2=BC^2 Thus in triangle ABC we have, AB^2+AC^2=BC^2 Hence, triangle ABC is a right triangle right angled at A. Let if possible it is assumed that 7-√5 is rational no. 7- √5 = p/q. where p nd q are integers and q. qis not equal to 0 √5 = p/q - 7 Since p and q are integers so, p/q - 7 is rational and so √5 is rational But this contradicts the fact that √5 is irrational This is bcoz of our wrong assumption So we conclude that 7 - √5 is irrational

Let the given vertices be A (1,7), B (4,2), C (-1,-1), D (-4,4)
AB = √ (4-1)² + (2 -7⁾² = √ 9 + 25 = √ 34
BC = √ (-1-4)² + (-1-2)² = √ 25 + 9 = √ 34
CD = √ (-4+1)² + (4 +1)² = √ 9 + 25 = √ 34
AD = √ (1 +4)²+ (7 -4)²= √ 25 + 9 = √ 34
AC = √ (-1-1)²+ (-1-7)²= √ 4 + 64 = √ 68
BD = √ (-4-4)² + (4 - 2)² = √ 64 + 4 = √ 68
