CP and CQ are tangents to circle with centre O. CP=CQ=11cm. Similarly, BR and BQ are tangents to the same circle. BR=BQ. but BQ=CQ-BC = 11-7= 4 cm. So, BR= 4cm.

(SinA + cosA= -b/a). (SinA × cosA = c/a). Now, ----->(sinA+cosA)square = (sinA)square + (cosA) square + 2×sinA×cosA. ------------------------------------> (-b/a)square=1+2c /a -------> b square/a square = a+2c/a ------> b square = a square + 2ac. Proved, hope yu can understand it?

Let ‘a’ be the edge of the cube.
Surface area of cube = 6a2 sq units
Given length of edge is increased by 10%
Hence new measure of edge = a + 10% of a = (11a/10)
Surface area of cube (after increase) = 6(11a/10)2
= (121/100) x 6a2 sq units
Change in surface area = [(121/100) x 6a2 ] – 6a2
  = (21/100) x 6a2
% increase =  [(21/100) x 6a2] x 100/ [6a2
= 21%

Gaurav Seth 6 years, 11 months ago

TSA = 462 cm2 2  = 2πrh + 2πr2

LSA = 1/3 of TSA= 1/3 462 = 154 = 2πrh

462 = 154 + 2πr2

462 = 154 + 2 x 22/7 x r2

462  - 154 = 2 x 22/ 7 x r2

308 x7 =r2

2 x 22  It's upon 2 into 22

therefore r2 = 49

r = 7

LSA = 2

TSA = 462 cm2 2  = 2πrh + 2πr2

LSA = 1/3 of TSA= 1/3 462 = 154 = 2πrh

462 = 154 + 2πr2

462 = 154 + 2 x 22/7 x r2

462  - 154 = 2 x 22/ 7 x r2

308 x7 =r2

2 x 22  It's upon 2 into 22

therefore r2 = 49

r = 7 cm

LSA = 2πrh

154 = 2 x 22/7 x 7 x h

h = 3.5 cm

volume = πr2h

  22/7 x 7 x 7 x 3.5

  = 539 cm3
