Given : Angle of sector, θ = 60° and radius, r = 6cm To find : Area of sector of a circle Formula used: Area of sector,A = θ/360° × πr² Solution: Given : θ = 60° and r = 6cm Area of sector,A = θ/360° × πr² A = 60°/360° × π × 6 × 6 A =1/6 × 22/7 × 6 × 6 A = 22/7 × 36 A = (22 × 36)/7 A = 132/7 cm² Hence, area of sector of a circle with radius 6 cm and θ = 60° is 132/7 cm².
