They will be meet again after LCM of both values at the starting point.
To get the LCM we have to factorize the number.
18        = 2 × 3 × 3
12        = 2 × 2 × 3
LCM    = 2 × 2 × 3 × 3 = 36 
Therefore, they will meet together at the starting point after 36 minutes.

U can prove using bpt first join diagonals and then oblique sides means non parallel sides hence connect them ... Now u have two triangles u can prove by bpt..

Required to find : cos30
Now,
Let A = 30o, 2A = 60o
cosA = {tex}\sqrt{1}{/tex} + {tex}\frac {cos2A}{2}{/tex}
cos30= {tex}\sqrt{( } 1+1 / 2) / 2{/tex}
cos30 = {tex}\sqrt{( } 3 / 2) / 2{/tex}
cos30 = {tex}\sqrt {(\frac {3}{4})} =\sqrt \frac {3}{2}{/tex} 
Therefore, {tex}\cos 30=\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}{/tex}
