In this case, a = √3, b = -√7, and c = 3√3. Substituting these values in the formula, we get: b² - 4ac = (-√7)² - 4(√3)(3√3) = 7 - 36 = -29 < 0 So, there are no real roots for the given equation

In Triangle ADE and ABC, AD=2 BD=2.5 AE=3.2 DE ll BC, ∴∠ADE=∠ABC ( corresponding angles) ∠AED=∠ACB ( corresponding angles) ∠BAC is common Δ ADE is similar to Δ ABC In similar triangles, we know that the ratio of corresponding sides is equal ∴ AB/AD=AC/AE (AD+BD)/AD = AC/AE (2+2.5)/2=AC/3.2 4.5/2=AC/3.2 ( 4.5×3.2)/2= AC 7.2=AC Hence the value of AC is 7.2

Given , AP=(5a-x),(6a),(7a+x) Here , A = 5a-x T¹=5a-x , T ²=6a, T³=7a+ x, D = T²-T¹ => D = 6a - (5a-x) => D= 6a - 5a+ x => D = a + x Now , T ^n = A+ (n-1)D => T ¹¹= A + (11-1)D => T ¹¹ = (5a-x) +10 (a+x) => T ¹¹ = 5a-x + 10a + 10x => T ¹¹ = 10a + 5a +10x - x => T ¹¹ = 15a + 9x Hence the 11th term of this AP is 15a + 9x

D = b² - 4ac , => D = 36 - 12 => D = 24 , Here D is greater than 0 (D >0 ) . Hence the nature of roots is real and unequal .

Sankalp Dinesh 1 year, 5 months ago
