Cot^2 theta + 1 = cosec^2 theta (3/x)^2 + 1 = (3x)^2 9/x^2 + 1= 9x^2 9/x^2 - 9x^2 = -1 9(1/x^2 - x^2) = -1 3(1/x^2 - x^2) = -1/3 Therefore, 3(x^2 - 1/x^2) = 1/3

To convert the given trigonometric ratios in terms of cot functions, use trigonometric formulas We know that, cosec2A – cot2A = 1 cosec2A = 1 + cot2A Since cosec function is the inverse of sin function, it is written as 1/sin2A = 1 + cot2A Now, rearrange the terms, it becomes sin2A = 1/(1+cot2A) Now, take square roots on both sides, we get sin A = ±1/(√(1+cot2A) The above equation defines the sin function in terms of cot function Now, to express sec function in terms of cot function, use this formula sin2A = 1/ (1+cot2A) Now, represent the sin function as cos function 1 – cos2A = 1/ (1+cot2A) Rearrange the terms, cos2A = 1 – 1/(1+cot2A) ⇒cos2A = (1-1+cot2A)/(1+cot2A) Since sec function is the inverse of cos function, ⇒ 1/sec2A = cot2A/(1+cot2A) Take the reciprocal and square roots on both sides, we get ⇒ sec A = ±√ (1+cot2A)/cotA Now, to express tan function in terms of cot function tan A = sin A/cos A and cot A = cos A/sin A Since cot function is the inverse of tan function, it is rewritten as tan A = 1/cot A

Cos A =4/5 so, b/h=4/5 , b =4, h=5 and then tan A =3/4 ,cot A =4/3

TanA=3/4 and cotA=4/3

Yogita Ingle 5 years ago

cos A = 4/5

sin A =√1 - cos2 A = √1 - (4/5)2 = √1 - 16/25 =√(25-16)/25 = √9/25 = 3/5

tan A = sinA/cos A = 3/4

ans cot A = cos A /sinA = 4/3

Question:- (7-2√3) Solution:- Let us assume that (7-2√3) is a rational number. Therefore we can write in the form of p/q. Where p and q are co- prime numbers. 7-2√3=p/q 7-p/q=2√3 7q-p/q=2√3 7q-p/2q=√3 √3=7q-p/2q Since, we know that √3 is an irrational number . Hence our assumption is wrong 7q-p/q or 7-2√3 is an irrational number.. Hence Proved..... I hope now your doubt is clear??

Solution: Given AB=6 cm, BC=4 m, QR=28 m. To find:PQ. In ∆ABC and ∆PQR. Angle B= Angle Q= 90°[ Vertical]. Angle ACB= Angle PRQ [same angle on both, from sum]. By AA Criterion ∆ABC ∆PQR Corresponding sides of similar triangles are in proportion AB/PQ = BC/QR = 6/PQ = 4/28. PQ = (28*6)/4 = 42 cm. Height of tower = 42m

Height is the measurement of an object in the vertical direction and distance is the measurement of an object from a particular point in the horizontal direction. If we imagine a line connecting the point of observation to the topmost point of the object then the horizontal line, vertical line and the imaginary line will form a triangle.

Observe the figure. Consider the observer to be at point C. The height of the object is shown by line AB. The distance of the object from the observer is given by line BC. The object may or may not be perpendicular to the ground. Line AC represents the Line of Sight when the observer is observing the topmost point of the object. Angle α represents the angle of elevation and Angle β represents the angle of depression.

Using trigonometry, if we are provided with any of the two quantities that may be a side or an angle, we can calculate all the rest of the quantities. By the law of alternate angles, the angle of elevation and angle of depression are consequently equal in magnitude (α = β). Tan α is equal to the ratio of the height and distance.

You can be provided with any two of the following information:

  • The distance of the object from the observer
  • The height of the object
  • Angle at which the observer views the topmost point of the object (angle of elevation)
  • The angle at which the observer views the object when the observer is on top of a tower/building (angle of depression)

Let a be the positive odd integer which when divided by 6 gives q as quotient and r as remainder.

according to Euclid’s division lemma
a=bq+r

a=6q+r

where , a=0,1,2,3,4,5
then,
a=6q
or
a=6q+1
or
a=6q+2
or
a=6q+3
or
a=6q+4
or
a=6q+5

but here,
a=6q+1 & a=6q+3 & a=6q+5 are odd.

??hlo......If that person is upset? at u there will be a particular reason behind her/his upsetness, it might be bcuz of some mistake happened from uhh or something else. U both will be friends ?or besties ? or ❤️luv birds, so u both will be doing some fun or cute gossips or cute fighting's in past. So u should repeat that gossips with ur dash or tell that person about ur past fighting's..... absolutely then that person will laugh?. Actually i have a real experience about this thing, my boyfriend was a bit upset at me then i noticed for some days n then i refreshed the old fun n memories between us then he started to laughing n give me a hot hug. I wish ?that this works on uhh. All the best?......IF I WAS KNOWING THE REASON BEHIND HIS OR HER UPSETNESS, I MIGHT HAVE HELPED UHH MORE NICELY.
