First , vol of earth dug out = volume of embankment. πr^2h= l×b×h. 770=22×14×h. h=2.5m.

Yogita Ingle 4 years, 9 months ago

Diamter = 7 m

so, radius = 3.5 m

Earth dug out from (cylindrical) well

=π×r×r×h

= 22/7 ×3.5×3.5×20

=770m3

to from platform ...... (cuboidal)

volume of cuboid = l×b×h

770=22×14×h

so, height = 770/22 ×14 = 2.5m

Let speed of boat in still water be x km/h and speed of stream be y km/h.

Speed upstream= (x - y) km/h

Speed downstream= (x + y) km/h

On subtracting, we get,

On solving, we get,

Speed of boat in still water = 8 km/h

And, Speed of stream = 3 km/h

The product of LCM and HCF of two numbers is equal to the product of two numbers.

<div> LCM = product of the numbers / HCF</div>

LCM = 26×91 /13

LCM = 2366 / 13

LCM = 182

  • 2 answers

Yogita Ingle 4 years, 9 months ago

Given that HCF = 9 and the numbers are 306 and 657 .
LCM = ?
We know that LCM × HCF = product of two numbers
⇒LCM × 9 = 306 × 657
⇒LCM = 201042/9 = 22338

Ranbeer Boparai 4 years, 9 months ago

We don't need the given part in this question, we can directly find the LCM(306,657) by prime factorisation method. 306=2×3×3×17 657=3×3×73. So, the LCM of 306 and 657 is 2×3×3×17×73=22338

Let roots 4k and 5k
4k+5k =-b/a
9k =-b/a
K=-b/9a..... (1)
4k*5k=c/a
20k2=c/a
Sub ... (1)
20 (-b/9a)2=c/a
20 (b2/81a2)=c/a
20 b= 81 ac

Ranbeer Boparai 4 years, 9 months ago

Let the zeroes be 4p, 5p. We know that the sum of the zeroes=-b/a. Then, 4p+5p=9p=-b/a. p=-b/9a, then, p^2=b^2/81a^2...(1) And the product of zeroes is c/a. Then 4p×5p=c/a. 20p^2=c/a then, p^2=c/20a...(2) Using (1) and (2). b^2/81a^2=c/20a. Then, 20b^2=81ac.

The Trigonometry Ratios of the angle θ in the triangle APM are defined as follows.

Opposite over Hypotenuse – Sin, Adjacent Over Hypotenuse – Cos, Opposite over Adjacent – Tan, Hypotenuse over Opposite – Cosec, Hypotenuse Over Adjacent – Sec and Adjacent over Opposite – Cotangent,

The ratios defined above are abbreviated as sin θ, cos θ, tan θ, cosec θ, sec θ and cot θ respectively. Note that the ratios cosec θ, sec θ and cot θ are respectively, the reciprocals of the ratios sin θ, cos θ and tan θ. So, the trigonometric ratios of an acute angle in a right triangle express the relationship between the angle and the length of its sides.

Opposite of Sin: Cosecant

Opposite of Cos: Secant

Opposite of Tan: Cotangent

Opposite of Cosecant: Sin

Opposite of Cotangent:  Tan

Opposite of Secant: Cosecant

Trig Mnemonics –  Some People Have, Curly Black Hair Through Proper Brushing.

Here, Some People Have is for

  • Sin θ= Perpendicular/ Hypotenuse.

Curly Black Hair is for

  • Cos θ= Base/ Hypotenuse.

Through Proper Brushing is for

  • Tan θ= Perpendicular/Base

Trigonometric Ratios of Some Specific Angles

We already know about isosceles right angle triangle and right angle triangle with angles 30º, 60º and 90º.
Can we find sin 30º or tan 60º or cos 45º etc. with the help of these triangles?
Does sin 0º or cos 0º exist?

Displacement is defined as the moving something from its position. Rotation is defined as the action of rotating around an axis or center. A geometrical figure can be displaced or rotated in either order to produce the same end result. There are some general rules for the rotation of objects using the most common degree measures (90 degrees, 180 degrees, and 270 degrees). The general rule for rotation of an object 90 degrees is (x, y) --------> (-y, x).

In geometry, a frustum is the portion of a solid that lies between one or two parallel planes cutting it. A right frustum is a parallel truncation of a right pyramid or right cone. In computer graphics, the viewing frustum is the three-dimensional region which is visible on the screen.

Gaurav Seth 4 years, 9 months ago

Given polynomial:

Product of zeroes of this polynomial = 4.

A polynomial is an expression of more than one or two algebraic term, may be a sum of those terms also.

We know, that the product of zeroes of a polynomial  can be given by =c/a

Hence, for the polynomial: , a = a, b = -6 and c = -6.

Product of zeroes of this polynomial = (-6)/a

4 = -6/a

a =  -6/4= -3/2

Manav Kumar 4 years, 9 months ago

Here x is equal to 4 . Put the value 4 in the place of X. a(4×4)-6(4)-6=0. 16a-24-6=0. 16a = 30 . a= 15/8. I think it is clear to u.
