Co-primes are 2 numbers which have only one as a common factor.
a = 2160
b = 847
By Euclid's lemma a=bq+r,  0≤r<b

2160 = 847 × 2 + 466
847 = 466 × 1 + 381
466 = 381 × 1 + 85
381 = 85 × 4 + 41
85 = 41 × 2 + 3
41 = 3 × 13 + 2
3 = 2 × 1 + 1
2 = 1 × 2 + 0

As 1 is the HCF of 847 and 2160.
∴ 847 and 2160 are co-primes as they have only 1 as their HCF.

Unknown . 4 years, 7 months ago

Given: the ratio of sides is 4:9 Solution: Let there are two triangles ABC and PQR similar to each other Where AB/PQ=4/9 According to theorem 6.6 which states that the ratio of areas of similar triangles is equal to the square of the ratio of their sides Hence, ar(ABC)/ar(PQR)=(AB/PQ)² =(4/9)² =(16/81) Therefore, the ratio of the areas of given triangles is 16:81 Hope this helps u!!! One more thing this(theorem 6.6) is deleted from the syllabus od 2020-2021 as 30percent syllabus is reduced ???

Putting 2 as p(2) as 2 is a zero of this quadratic polynomial.we get 2a +b = -6 as first equation. Put -3 as p(-3) as -3 is another zero of this quadratic polynomial.we get 3a - b = 6 as second equation. Adding these equations we get a= 0 and after that put a in first we get b= -6
