Answer: Composite numbers also known as composites in Mathematics are numbers that have more than 2 factors, not like prime numbers that have only one factor, i.e. 1 and the number itself. Composite numbers are all natural numbers that are not prime numbers since they can be divided by more than two numbers. 6 is composite, for instance, since it is divisible by 1, 2, 3 and even 6. Now consider 7 x 11 x 13 + 13 We can also write this as ⇒ (77 + 1) x 13 ⇒ 1014 So the factors are ⇒ 13 x 13 x 3 x 2 It is a composite number. The given number has more than two factors. Now consider 7 x 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 + 5 We can also write it as ⇒ 5(7 x 6 x 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 + 1) By calculation we get ⇒ 1009 x 5 It is a composite number. The given number has more than two factors. Hence proved.

What is Eulid division lemma

Swarnamayee Swain 4 years, 3 months ago

HCF of 225 and 135 by using Euclid's Algorithm lemma:- 225=135×1+90 135=90×1+45 90=45×1+0 Since the divisor is 45 at the 3rd stage and the remainder is 0. Therefore the HCF of 135 and 225 is 45.

5x^2 -6x-2 Quadratic polynomial can be factored using the transformation ax^{2}+bx+c=a(x-x1)(x-x2), where x1 and x2 are the solutions of the quadratic equation ax^2+bx+c=0. 5x^2-6x-2=0 All equations of the form ax^{2}+bx+c=0 can be solved using the quadratic formula: -b± sqrt{b^{2}-4ac} / 2a. The quadratic formula gives two solutions, one when ± is addition and one when it is subtraction. x=-(-6)± sqrt-6^{2} / 2×5 Square -6. x=-(-6)± sqrt{36-4) / 2×5 Multiply -4 times 5. x=-(-6)± sqrt(36-2) / 2×5 and so on ...................................... And after solving this whole u will get : x= 3- sqrt{19} / 5 Factor the original expression using ax^{2}+bx+c=a(x-x1)(x-x2). Substitute 3+sqrt{19}/ 5 for x1 and 3-sqrt{19}/ 5 3-sqrt{19}/ 5 for x2. The 2 zeros are ● 3+sqrt{19}/ 5 ● 3-sqrt{19}/ 5 And u can convert it into factors
