Because of lockdown, my school has started online classes. They believe school and studies mustn't stop because of all this. Well, lockdown and online classes(which are shorter in comparison with normal school) are a boon in disguise for me. They let me concentrate more on subjects I am missing out on. Like... Biochemistry!
I also cant wait for school to reopen! I am excited to see all my friends in person again!!! I guess we all have to pray we find a cure soon!
Also, I am missing your Paneer Pakoras, please make sure theyre ready beforehand I come!
Loads of love,
(Your Name)

Matilda lost Mrs. Forestiers necklace while she was dancing at the ball. Matilda and her husband had to return the necklace after borrowing eighteen thousand francs from lenders. They handed the jewel box to Mrs. Forestier who did not open the Jewel Box. After that Matilda and her husband spent a life of misery. A tremendous change came in the life style of Matilda after this incident. She started living in rented house, sent away the maid, and also started doing all the household work. She led a wretched, poor and humble life for ten years. Matildas desire to show off and one little act of negligence or one small error led to the utter ruin of their life full of pleasures. They suffered poverty for ten years due to the debt they incurred to buy a necklace.

....i turned back, only to find no one standing behind me. 'Who called me??', was the only question that repeated itself in my brain. i was hearing these voices from yesterday, but couldn't find out who it was. i heard someone calling me again. a shiver ran down my spine. i called out to the person telling him to come out of hiding. but there was no answer. i rushed out of the room, taking deep breaths, thinking what had just happened.i recalled the events that happened yesterday..- it was a rainy day. i was at home watching a movie, when i heard something from the kitchen. i went to see what it was. as i walked into the kitchen, i slipped on something and fell. my hand automatically held something for support. something very strong passed through me and everything went blank. i woke up the next morning and realized what had happened. i held the toaster with my wet hands resulting in an electric shock... My thoughts got interrupted by a voice calling my name. this time it came from above my head. i looked up in fear. i saw a small creature crawling across the ceiling, staring at me. i stared back. how was this possible? a lizard can't talk. then i realized, i just started to listen to animals' voices.

The parting scene between Tricki and Mrs. Pumphrey was quite melodramatic. As soon as the narrator told her the dog needed to be hospitalized for a few days, she swooned. She was reluctant to send Tricki to the narrator’s hospital.
However, the narrator was firm on it; as he took the sick dog to his car, Mrs. Pumphrey sent all her staff with Tricki’s luxuries to be carried to the hospital. The luxuries included: Tricki’s day bed, night bed, favourite cushions, toys and rubber rings, breakfast bowl, lunch bowl, supper bowl.
As the narrator moved away with the dog, Mrs. Pumphrey cried, and the entire staff was in tears.

Whitman finds that animals have many virtues that men are lacking. They remain very calm, quiet and satisfied. They have no worries. That is why Whitman wants to live with them.
Man are always unhappy and discontented. They keep grumbling. They go mad for material possessions. Animals do none of these things. They are always happy and contended. They don’t have to weep over their sins.

Yes, we can say that Griffin was a lawless person. He didn't follow the law and order of the country as he thought of having his revenge by setting out fire in his landlord's property. He didn't believe in observing law. He robbed a shopkeeper of all the money he could find. In addition to that, he hit him hard from behind to escape without being seen. He stole the housekeeping money from the clergyman's desk. He also attacked Mrs. Hall with his cap and her furniture when she intruded his room. All these instances prove that he was a lawless person.

It is true that hobbies are stepping stones to innovative ideas. In the story, The Making of a Scientist, Richard Ebright’s hobby was collecting things. He was fascinated by butterflies so he started collecting butterflies in kindergarten. He also collected rocks, fossils and coins. He became a star-gazer and an eager astronomer. By the time, he was in the second grade, he had collected twenty-five species of butterflies found around his hometown. Later, this hobby led him to research and discover many things. Thus, hobby played a major role in what he achieved in his life.

Dear diary,
Not a single day goes by when I do not feel ridiculed by my fellow classmates. I do not understand that what is my fault in all of this. I wear a blue faded dress to class and therefore everybody laughs at me. Nobody cares about how I feel or how I feel ashamed of myself. I am embarrassed about my attire but there isn't much that I can control in life. In order to get rid of this I ended up lying that I have one hundred dresses at home. But now since everybody knows that I cannot prove this, I have decided not to go to school anymore.
I have to go now.
Goodbye.

The message conveyed by the poem is that just like humans, animals too long for freedom and do not like being caged. For instance, the tiger in the poem longs to be in the jungle and he looks longingly at the shining stars in the sky. By looking at the stars, the tiger hope to be with nature some day. Just like we humans after working hard in this modern world, look up to nature for comfort. We also learn that one should not be kept away from his natural surroundings as doing so would hamper the growth of his character.

Mandela believed that the oppressed and the oppressor must be liberated. An oppressor is a prisoner of hatred. No one is free if he takes away someone else's freedom. So, he said that the oppressed and the oppressor alike are robbed of their humanity.

Valli went into town looking at the beautiful natural view outside the bus and even saw a beautiful young cow. But she saw the real side of life on her way back. She witnessed the death of the young cow. She was shaken by how something that was alive a few moments ago could die without any warning. Something which seemed beautiful when alive looked so horrible when dead. Thus, she learnt that there were so many things that happened in life beyond our knowledge.
